PIPELINE FIRING PARTS ONE, TWO, THREE
Howzit, caught one of those epic days at Pipe.  Surf heights were coming in at 10-15 ft. with some 18 footers rolling in.  With clear skies, light winds and the swell coming in at a perfect north/northwest direction picture perfect barrels bring out all the Pipe specialists. PIPELINE MASTERS FINAL DAY
Howzit, caught the last day of the Pipe Masters.  Last of the Triple Crown contests and the final event of the ASP tour.  Surf was only in the 4 to 6 foot range, but contest officials had to run it on this day because checking the forecast didn't show much better surf happening before the end of the holding period. THE EDDIE AIKAU BIG WAVE SURF INVITATIONAL 2009
Howzit, was fortunate enough to be able to witness and capture the Eddie.  Three of the largest sessions I have ever posted covering three days of the biggest surf of 2009 to hit the north shore.  Surf and weather forecasters were tracking a super typhoon "Nida" that had started down by the Philippines and tracked north past Japan and ending northwest of Hawaii.
